Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Athens


Transfer to hotel. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, free time to make a first connection with the Greek capital. We propose a walk to enjoy the nightlife of Athens.

Overnight in Athens.


Day 2 - Panoramic tour of Athens


After your breakfast, we will start the tour around the sites of Athens. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop).
Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (Old Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colourful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).


On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts the mind in order", the Parthenon.
Continue and visit the place where the statues found their home and admire the classical era’s wonders: The Acropolis Museum.
The evening is free. We recommend taking a tour to enjoy the beautiful sunset in Cape Sounion. Overnight in Athens.


Day 3 - Athens and Mykonos


After your breakfast, transfer to Piraeus port in the early morning to catch a ferry to the island of Mykonos. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure and spend the night on the island.


Day 4 - Mykonos (Optional island tour)


Enjoy a day at leisure in Mykonos to explore the unique island on your own or join an optional tour that takes you on a journey to discover the island's countryside and beaches. The Mykonos Island Tour starts with a visit to the idyllic beach of Agios Ioannis, where you can see fishermen and their boats at the small pier, private chapel and houses built in typical Cycladic architectural style. You will also visit the traditional village of Ano Mera, where you can explore the 16th-century monastery of Panagia Tourliani and take a stroll around the square. The next stop is Kalafatis beach where you can relax and have a coffee or a refreshment before heading back to town. Explore Mykonos town by walking into the narrow cobblestone streets, passing by the famous windmills and Little Venice, and visiting Paraportiani church and Saint Nicholas church. After the walking tour, you are free to continue your private exploration of the town. The meeting point is Fabrika Square, Mykonos town. Free afternoon. Overnight in Mykonos.


Day 5 - Mykonos and Delos (Optional Tour)


Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a free day, but we suggest taking an optional tour of the mystical island of Delos. In the morning, transfer to the port to board a ferry to Delos. According to mythology, Delos was considered one of the most sacred islands in ancient Greek culture as it was believed to be the birthplace of Apollo, the god of light, and Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. Today, Delos is known for its large and important natural insular archaeological site. After exploring the island, return to Mykonos in the afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the nightlife and all the island has to offer. Overnight in Mykonos.


Day 6 - Mykonos and Santorini


In the morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the port to board the ferry to the island of Santorini. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, we suggest taking an optional tour of the picturesque village of Oia, known for its stunning sunsets. Take in the views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea while experiencing one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the island or relax at the hotel. Overnight in Santorini.


Day 7 - Santorini (Optional island tour)


We will start with a visit to the Akrotiri Archaeological site with a licensed guide at one of the most important prehistoric settlements of Greece. Akrotiri is a Bronze Age settlement on the volcanic island of Santorini (Thera). The settlement was destroyed by a huge eruption during the 17th century BC and buried under the volcanic ash, which preserved the whole city in perfect conditions so as to be referred often as “Prehistoric Pompei” The settlement has been suggested as a possible inspiration for Plato's story of Atlantis. The site has been excavated since 1967. (Guided Tour 1 & ½ h) Entrance Fees are not included in the price. We will continue with Red Beach, where we will have some free time for photos or for a walk along the coastline. Soaring red lava cliffs drop right to the sandy shore and into the clear blue sea. We will continue with the premier Perivolos black sand beach, which offers a big variety of restaurants, taverns, cafes, beach bars & watersports and is an ideal destination for those who want to combine relaxation, swimming & good food. Time at leisure for lunch or swimming (1 & ½ - 2 h ) (Lunch is not included in the price). We will take part in a walking tour at Megalochori, one of the most beautiful traditional villages on the island. Typical traditional Cycladic houses, neoclassic buildings, and small houses dug in the volcanic rock blend together with harmony, where we can also the typical small white churches with blue domes. (25 min)


Profitis Ilias mountain: The highest peak of the island (567 meters) is located between Pyrgos and Kamari. The Mountain took its name, Profitis Ilias, (Prophet Elijah), from the Monastery, located at the top. From this vantage point, you will enjoy a striking view of the entire island, from the patchwork agricultural plains to the hilltop village of Oia. (Photo stop 20 min).

Day 8 - Santorini and Heraklion


In the morning, after breakfast, we will transfer to the port to board the ferry to Heraklion, the capital city of the island of Crete. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. After checking in, you will have some free time to explore the city and experience its vibrant culture. Heraklion is the largest city on the island of Crete and is known for its rich history and impressive architecture. You can wander the streets of the Old Town, where you will find charming cafes, shops, and traditional tavernas. Overnight in Heraklion.


Day 9 - Heraklion - Knossos (Optional  Tour)


Breakfast. Today, you have the option to take a tour to explore the wonders of the Minoan civilization. You will begin the day by visiting the most important archaeological site on Crete, the Minoan palace of Knossos and the mythical Labyrinth of Homer. This site covers an area of 22,000 square meters and is considered the birthplace of the oldest European civilization, dating back to around 5,000 years ago. Afterwards, you will visit the Archaeological Museum in the centre of Heraklion Town, where you can see the largest collection of Minoan artefacts on Crete. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the vibrant city of Heraklion on your own. Overnight in Heraklion.


Day 10 - Heraklion and Athens


Breakfast. Today is a free day in Heraklion to explore the city at your own pace. You can visit the bustling open-air market, the lively Venetian harbour, or the ancient city walls. In the evening, transfer to the port to board the ferry to Piraeus (Athens). Overnight on board.


Day 11 - Athens and Departure Day


Our assistant will meet you at the Port - Ferry Dock and will transfer you to the Airport for your departure flight.
