Day 2 - Panoramic tour of Athens
Departure for a half-day Panoramic tour of Athens, followed by a visit to the Acropolis. This tour offers the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, the Prime Minister's residence, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
As we make our way to the Acropolis, we will delve into the rich history of Athens and the significance of the architectural masterpieces that we will encounter. The charming town, located on the Gulf of Argolis, is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including the Venetian fortress of Palamidi, which offers panoramic views of the town and the sea.
