Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Athens


Arrival at Athens airport - Transfer to your hotel in Athens - Free afternoon - Overnight at the hotel. Take a walk to enjoy the Athenian nightlife.


Day 2 - Panoramic tour of Athens


Depart for a half-day visit to Athens. Visit the Acropolis and take part in a Panoramic tour of the city by bus. During this route, you can admire the different contrasts offered to visitors of Athens. You will visit the city centre, Constitution Square (Syntagma), the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, The Parliament and Neoclassical buildings, and Panepistimiou Avenue (the Academy, the University and the National Library).


On the way to the Acropolis, you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and then you will see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of our time were held in 1896 (short stop). In the Acropolis, you can admire the masterpieces of the golden age of Athens, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and finally “the harmony between spirit and matter”, the Parthenon. Then you will visit the impressive sculptures, which adorned the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion (with Caryatids) and of course the Parthenon. Back to the hotel. Afternoon free. Overnight.


Day 3 - Athens - Free day


Enjoy your day by strolling along Plaka (the old Athenian quartier) with its narrow streets, which are full of traditional restaurants where you can taste typical dishes of Greek cuisine, and the famous drink “ouzo” and enjoy the atmosphere of this vibrant neighbourhood.


Day 4 - Epidaurus – Mycenae – Olympia


Departure from Athens, we travel to the Corinth Canal (shortstop). We continue to Epidaurus and visit the theatre, known for its excellent acoustics. Depart for Nafplion (short stop), continue to Mycenae, visit the Citadel and the tomb of Agamemnon, and depart for Olympia, across the Peloponnese. Arrive for dinner and overnight.


Day 5 - Olympia – Delphi


Visit Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games (Museum - Archaeological Site). Departure for Delphi, crossing the plains of Ilia and Achaia and reaching the large bridge of Rio, which connects the Peloponnese with mainland Greece (Antirio) through Nafpaktos and other picturesque towns. Arrive for dinner and overnight.


Day 6 - Delphi – Meteora


Visit Delphi (Museum and Archaeological site). Departure for Kalambaka, situated at the foot of Meteora a uniquely amazing scenery. Arrive for dinner and overnight.


Day 7 - Meteora – Athens


After breakfast, drive to Athens. Free day. We suggest visiting some of the many museums, such as the unique Museum of Cycladic Art. Secondly, another beautiful museum to visit is Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation and lastly the National Gallery which is devoted to Greek and European art from the 14th century to the 20th century.


Day 8 - Rhodes


Arrival at Rhodes airport, welcome by our local correspondent, who will help you with the recovery of the car and departure to the hotel. Get a first taste of the city as you stroll through the city centre on foot. Overnight in Rhodes.


Day 9 - City tour of Rhodes


Breakfast at the hotel and visit the city. Do not miss the three windmills near the Fort of St. Nicholas, the New Market, the public administration buildings, the entrance to Port Mandraki with its immense buildings built by the Italians and, of course, the two deer, where the Colossus would have stood, as well as the underwater aquarium (seen from the outside). As you continue towards Mount Smith, you will have the opportunity to admire picturesque panoramas of the city and the coast.


You will visit the ruins of the temple of Apollo, the ancient outdoor stadium, as well as the Amphitheater. The tour ends at one of the gates of the famous medieval city of Rhodes, better known as the Old Town, classified as a historical monument by UNESCO. Here visitors will get a taste of the city's past and present. Stroll along the cobbled streets, near the impressive walls, under gates and colonnades, through squares with fountains and dark courtyards, through the rue des Chevaliers de St. Jean in front of the archaeological museum and finally walk past the Grand Master's Palace. In addition, you will be amazed at the number of small shops that sell everything from handmade jewellery, leather, ceramics and rugs, wooden items, and clothing. Overnight in Rhodes.


Day 10 - Excursion to Lindos in Rhodes


Breakfast at the hotel departure to Lindos. From the moment you arrive in Lindos, one of the three ancient towns of the island, you will be captivated by the magnificent view over Lindos Bay. This village is a uniquely preserved monument, with traditional whitewashed houses, surrounded by the dazzling blue of crystal-clear waters. The astonishing beauty of the castle, the Acropolis of Athena Lindia on the top of the hill with a superb view, the bay of St. Paul (where the apostle arrived in 58 AD) and the cobbled streets of the village will fascinate visitors. A stroll through the narrow streets reveals the beauty of the island's architecture. Visit the acropolis to feel the living history of this place. Overnight in Rhodes.


Day 11 - Boat trip to Symi


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by boat to the island of Symi which is ranked among the most authentic in Greece. Brightly coloured houses, cobbled streets, countless churches and monasteries, seaside taverns and a multitude of stalls make up a unique environment. Arriving at the picturesque harbour, you will have time to venture into the shops. Lovers of marine cuisine will have the opportunity to taste it at one of the typical taverns, the boat will stop at the pier of the Monastery of Panormitis, on the west coast of the island. There you will discover the 12th-century Byzantine monastery dedicated to Archangel Michael, with impressive frescoes and an interesting museum. Return and overnight in Rhodes.


Day 12  - Boat trip to Kastelorizo


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by boat to the island of Kastelorizo. On the easternmost side of Greece, you’ll come across Kastellorizo, one of the smallest yet prettiest islands of the Dodecanese complex. Also known as Megisti during antiquity, the island has a long history starting in the early Neolithic era. Its ancient name lasted until the Middle Ages when the knights of St John built Castello Rosso on the reddish rock above the port. The name of the island was given because of the castle with the high double walls and battlements. Its economic growth started by the end of the 19th century thanks to fishing and shipping. The beautiful stately houses along the Kordoniou coast are reminiscent of those prosperous days. Overnight in Rhodes.


Day 13 - Visit of Filerimos/ Valley of butterflies in Rhodes


Day 14 - Rhodes


Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Rhodes. Overnight in Rhodes.


Day 15 - Departure


Breakfast at the hotel. Head to Rhodes Airport. Return of the vehicle to the airport. Assistance with the registration formalities. Depart.
