The Tower of London

Explore London’s iconic castle and World Heritage Site. Get up close to the Crown Jewels in the year of the Platinum Jubilee, meet the legendary Yeoman Warders and ravens and see the Tower like never before.

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is recognised around the world as the home of the monarch, the focus of national and royal celebrations, as well as the backdrop to the regular Changing the Guard ceremony.

Explore the magnificent State Rooms which are open to visitors on selected dates.

Westminster Abbey

A royal church offering daily services for all and a World Heritage Site with over a thousand years of history.

Coronations, royal weddings, kings, queens, statesmen and soldiers; poets, heroes and villains – history happens here and it’s all waiting to be discovered.

The National Gallery

The National Gallery of Art, founded as a gift to the nation, serves as a center of visual art, education, and culture. Our collection of more than 150,000 paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, photographs, prints, and drawings spans the history of Western art and showcases some of the triumphs of human creativity.

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. It is an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen and is still very much a working royal palace today, home to around 150 people. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 40 monarchs.

Changing the Guard – this historic royal ceremony takes place throughout the year on specific days set by the British Army.  A monthly guard march schedule is posted in advance.  The ceremony is weather permitting and never takes place on a Sunday. Guards march up the High Street at 10.45am or visitors to Windsor Castle can watch the actual changing ceremony outside the Guardroom in the Lower Ward at 11.00am.

Windsor

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead – 1,000 years of Royal history, colourful events, contemporary shopping, luxury brands and fine dining.

Windsor Great Park – majestic royal park with breathtaking views of Windsor Castle. Once part of a vast Norman hunting forest, the 5,000 acre park is now managed by the Crown Estate and is renowned for its ancient oaks, magnificent formal avenues, gardens, woodland, open grassland and the iconic Long Walk.

The Ritz Hotel

We are London’s most iconic hotel. A five star haven on Piccadilly that is famous the world over for its historic elegance, impeccable service, impressive suites, and legendary World Renowned Afternoon Tea.

Indulge in a slice of the finest British tea tradition and a champagne celebration with our Afternoon Tea experiences at The Ritz London.

Whilst dining at The Ritz, savour a selection of finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and a mouth-watering range of exquisitely presented pastries and teacakes, replenished on request.

This most charming English Afternoon Tea in Mayfair is served in the spectacular surroundings of the hotel’s former Ballroom located in The Ritz Club, on the lower ground floor of the hotel. The Ritz London is the only hotel in the UK to have a certified Tea Master, Giandomenico Scanu, who travels around the world to various tea plantations to source our wonderful teas.
