Duplex Suite

These beautifully restored Duplex Suites form part of the palazzo’s Piano Nobile, and were originally used as reception rooms for the Moscati Parisio family for whom this wonderful Palazzo was originally built during the 17th century.

Making excellent use of the high ceilings to allow for a specially designed spiral staircase to be used to create a split level suite. The bedroom space on the upper level is kept entirely separate from the very luxurious sitting room beneath thus recreating the room’s original purpose.

These Duplex Suites are all  individually designed and tastefully decorated to reflect the grandeur of the Palazzo and offer our esteemed guests the comfort they expect from a luxury 5-Star boutique hotel. Featuring restful and calming tonalities of green with rich jewel tones, these duplex suites are furnished with beautiful paintings of Malta, antique furniture and  decorated with luxurious fabrics. Executive Suite with Panoramic View

Situated in the hotel’s first floor, the ‘Piano Nobile’, the suite boasts elegant grandeur with eye-catching original features and a large gilded mirror as soon as you set foot into the suite.

Wall mounted tapestries, the wonderfully restored headboard, period pieces of furniture, comfortable sofas and arm chairs.  A king size bed draped with luxurious bed linen and a number of occasional cushions guarantee total rest and comfort. Presidential Suite

Oozing an aura of grandeur and richness, the Presidential Suite offers comfort and fine living fit for a king, justifying its status as the most luxurious of duplex suites.

Spread over an area of approximately 65 sq m, The Presidential Suite is an ideal family room, an intimate private entertaining venue and luxurious setting for romantic dinners.

The Presidentail Suite  offers an interesting selection of period pieces of furniture – from an antique dining table for 6 persons to a period writing table, an antique chest of drawers and an imposing guilded mirror of impressive dimensions. All this is expertly complimented by carefully selected soft furnishings and drapes, comfortable sofas and arm chairs, old lamps and original works of art.

The magical sensation of Mdina is immediately felt when one steps out onto the balcony – typical of palazzos built in the 17th century. From here one can enjoy the majestic building of The Vilhena Palace – a building which once housed the Law Courts in the time of the knights.
